Legatum has been, and continues to be, in active discussion with Sonus Networks' management regarding resolution of the outstanding issues which will lead to the realisation of the full potential of the company. As some shareholders have noted, the general interest may be better served by conducting these negotiations in private: that there is no public news at this time should not be taken as any suggestion of a reduction in Legatum's vigorous pursuit of a solution. Rather, the fact that these discussions are continuing may be taken as a signal that Sonus management is responsive, although a point of satisfactory resolution has not yet been reached. Legatum will advocate for prompt, public disclosure of any resolution when it occurs.
